This leaflet provides four way marked walks of between 2-7 miles with maps and descriptions
Walk 1 (2 miles)
The White House and Otley Chevin
A short and steep walk into the Chevin forest to the White House from where there are superb views across Otley town, and access to extensive networks of footpaths within the Chevin Forest Park.
Walk 2 (3.5 miles)
Wharfe Meadows Park and Gallows Hill Nature Reserve
A level walk through part of the town conservation area, across the medieval bridge through the riverside park and onto Gallows Hill Nature Reserve.
Walk 3 (5 miles)
The Old Railway Track
A mostly flat with one uphill section. This walk makes use of the footpath which follows the old railway to the west of Otley. There are fine views of Ilkley Moor and a chance to appreciate our industrial heritage.
Walk 4 (6.5 miles)
Pool Bank and across the Chevin Ridge
A more strenuous walk which starts across the fields and meadows of Wharfedale before climbing the Chevin and traversing the ridge with its magnificent panoramic views.
